Alleging underpayment, day laborers take temp agencies to court

As temporary employment surges in a tough job market, employment lawyers are citing a corresponding rise in wage-theft claims. In a recent case, a group of day laborers in Illinois filed a class action against California-based temp agency SelectRemedy, saying it has been underpaying them for years.
